Driving From the M8:
From the M8 North or Southbound: Exit at junction 19 and follow the signs for the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC). The hotel is adjacent to the Exhibition Centre on Congress Road, just minutes from the M8.
The Crowne Plaza is only 5 minutes from Glasgow Central Bus station.
The Crowne Plaza is only a 15 minute taxi journey from either Glasgow Central Station or Glasgow Queen Street Station. A taxi from either Station to the Crowne Plaza will cost around £6.00.
Alternatively you can take a train from Glasgow Central Station to the SECC which is adjacent to the Crowne Plaza. This train journey takes around 3 minutes and will cost £1.60 for a single ticket and £1.90 for a return ticket.
Exhibition Centre station is SECC’s own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Central Station (Platform 17 is on the lower level) will bring you to Exhibition Centre station in a journey time of just three minutes.
Scotrail offer the easiest, cheapest, quickest way to get to the SECC. Trains are around every 10 minutes.
